Why We Built This
Home chefs and cloud kitchens run some of the most creative food businesses in the world. They operate lean, move fast, and build loyal customers through genuine quality — not marketing budgets. But when it comes to the tools they use to run their operation, most of them are still stuck managing orders through WhatsApp threads, tracking sales in notebooks, and sending payment confirmation screenshots back and forth all day.
The software that exists either doesn't fit how independent kitchens actually work, or it's priced for enterprise restaurant chains with a full IT team. The delivery platforms offer reach — but take 25–35% of every order in commission, turning a tight margin business into a money-losing one.
We built MealsCloud because this operator — the home chef selling 100 meals a week, the cloud kitchen running two concepts from one space — deserves a real operating system. Not a watered-down tool. Not a platform that takes a cut of their revenue. Something purpose-built for how they actually work, at a price that makes sense.
Our goal is straightforward: give every independent kitchen — regardless of size or location — the digital infrastructure to take orders professionally, understand their business clearly, and keep every penny they earn.

We don't want you dependent on delivery platforms that take 25–35% of your revenue. MealsCloud puts you in control of your own customers, orders, and data.

Every feature we ship starts with a real kitchen operator problem — not a feature request from a product roadmap meeting. We talk to home chefs and cloud kitchen owners constantly, and we build what they actually need.
Opinionated defaults, not infinite settings
We make sensible choices so you don't have to configure everything from scratch. A home chef doesn't need 47 notification settings. They need orders to arrive, and to know what to do with them.
Speed over completeness
A tool you can set up in 15 minutes and use today is worth more than a comprehensive platform that takes weeks to configure. We ship fast, improve from feedback, and keep the core experience tight.
Plain language everywhere
Sales reports in plain English. Error messages that tell you what to do next. Pricing with no footnotes. We believe software should communicate clearly — not hide behind jargon.

Umar is a full-stack software engineer who has spent the last six years building and shipping SaaS products across fintech, edtech, and B2B software, working with clients across four industries. Before MealsCloud, he built and launched a point-of-sale and digital receipt platform and an operations platform for LPG businesses.
MealsCloud is his answer to a problem he kept running into: home chefs and cloud kitchens deserve real software, not a stripped-down version of a tool built for restaurant chains. He's building it end to end, solo, from product to code to customer conversations.
Where We're Going
MealsCloud is in early access. We are starting with the core — menu, orders, and daily sales reports — and building from there based on what real kitchen operators tell us they need most.
On our near-term roadmap: a loyalty and repeat-customer system, deeper analytics with week-over-week comparisons, integrated payment processing, and multi-branch support for cloud kitchens running more than one concept. Every feature on the roadmap was asked for by a kitchen operator — not invented in a meeting.
